I can honestly say that this is the best fanfic I've ever read. Period.
The jewnicorn fandom is getting a little out of control on Tumblr, but understandably so after reading this fic.

Here it is.
The most precious fic ever written. Yes it's RPS but really, it just has to be read. It involves two actors. Their names are Jesse and Andrew.

Band members are: Thomas Mars (singer), Deck d'Arcy (bass), Laurent Brancowitz (guitar) and Christian Mazzalai (guitar).
They hail from Versailles and their latest album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix is a gem!

Okay, so I'm not very fond of Versailles and their hipster population, but who cares, their music is really awesome.

Seems to me as if 'best albums of the decade' lists are cropping up everywhere lately. There's NME's top 100 albums of the decade, NPR's 50 Most Important Recordings, The A.V. Club's best music of the decade ...
I'm tempted to make a list of my own but it'll be cluttered with bands I like (not that this one isn't!). Instead I'll give you a list of the best records I've listened in the past years. If you know me a little, this list is VERY predictable, hah. They're not ranked in order or anything. I'm pretty much writing as I go... oh, and I haven't included best scores because film music deserves its own list :)

Yeah I know. Holy cow.
It's been AGES since I last posted here, y'know, a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away.
I'm such a bad squishy.

What happened between now and then-

* I moved to Middle-Earth New Zealand, where I had the time of my life. Naturally.
* Then decided to take a year off to live in Manchester. Well that turned out to be crazy, with work and older people and adult life, which scared the hell out of me, so I went back to Paris to live the good life known as being a STUDENT. Heh.
But England wasn't so bad. What I remember from it now, completely randomly, is: falling in love in Liverpool (true story), a frozen fountain in the gardens of Warwick Castle, rainstorm in Birmingham, getting drunk in Lemington Spa (where?), coffee at Euston station, Kings of Leon at the O2 arena, and countless trips from Charles de Gaulle airport to East Midlands.
* I've been posting, uh regularly, on my own website, detheo.org. Mostly film reviews as usual. But I haven't gotten around doing the October/November post yet --there's not much at the movies right now. Except f-ing Twilight. Don't ask me why I hate it, I just do. But it's nothing personal. I won't diss someone who loves Twilight -everyone's entitled to:)
* I should really be studying instead of writing this nonsense.. Have got a presentation on the youth unemployment rate in Germany coming, and I haven't done any work yet. Yeah.

I'll try and update more often. Perhaps more random stuff than on my blog. If you can believe that.

I'm completely dejected.
Milan AC just won the Champions League, 2-1, against Liverpool and...

I dunno, I guess I believed in them til the end, I thought they would... It's just, I feel terrible.
I can't help taking it emotionally. It's silly, really. But that's the problem with watching football; I pour my heart and everything for 90mins only to see...
Watching Steven (Gerrard, the captain)... at the end, in tears...
They were so close to victory, and they played such a great match... They did make quite a lot of mistakes but it wasn't... Overall, they were just better than Milan, or so I thought... I know they were.

I'm a bit sick of Milan AC, too; they've been beating my favourite teams for ages, and they've won the League so many times.
Also, Liverpool has had such a great run this year, beating Barcelona and Chelsea (that match also hurt... a lot).
I guess I'll see them next year...

Finally worked out how to put up a new layout, so hopefully, it looks good and okay! With Superman Returns all over the place, some people might not like it, but I do (heh).

It still amazes me how much I love this film, almost a year after its release, and after about a hundred DVD screenings. I know it's flawed, I know some things are debatable in it, but I've just grown so fond of that movie! It symbolizes all the poetry, and beauty, and everything that's wonderful about superheroes. 
So, there you are, a pic of Lois and Supes on the Daily Planet rooftop --because it's sooo iconic. I love that it references Dick Donner's original Superman, but that it also contains some of the best lines of the film (Lois saying, "The world doesn't need a savior. And neither do I." always breaks my heart).

Anyways, huge thanks to for refuted for providing the layout! And I need to stop talking about Superman Returns, really.

Finally entering the strange and bizarre world of LJ!
First of all, thanks to lydzi_de_galles for all the helpful hints and for getting me here and everything... Between icons and moodthemes and whatsnot, it's been a bit confusing!

Well, I don't really know what I'll be writing in here, because I usually post about movies and such on my Wordpress blog. 
But I'll try to keep it interesting, in case anyone is reading this...
